The programme was curated through the HACKNEY PRIDE365 grant awards scheme and has supported 15 artists or organisations to deliver work across Hackney throughout February 2024. The events and activities, include:‘The Queer History of You Through Movement’, a practical movement workshop that explores queer identity through dance with Ballet Queer and Shoreditch Town Hall. An afternoon of film screenings and interactive workshops "Pride and Protest in the Cost of Living Crisis” with Stonewall Housing at Rio Cinema. Queer Tours of London's walking tours of historic Stoke Newington. A celebration of Bloolips radical drag theatre company with founding member Lavinia Co-op, curated by Unfinished Histories. Hackney Council celebrates LGBT History month with a line-up of performances, exhibitions, drag, walks, talks, zine making and more.
